Incredible.

It's interesting what some of the second-order effects of cheap solar are. Obviously, fences are terrible solar installations by conventional criteria. They will generate almost no juice at solar noon, which they are selling as a benefit. At the price of panels 10 years ago, there is no way you could ever make the panels pay while essentially giving up the most productive hours of the day.

I wonder how durable that pattern is. In other words, was it true in 2008 or other housing downturns that the Midwest and the NE are just simply less volatile, or was this some unique artifact of Covid?
