yeah, I like it a bunch more from the front.  The saddlebags are useful, but I'd like to see them off just for fun.

~500lbs is a bit light for a 4 banger that could power a car.

I never ride anywhere if I have a set destination or time limit. Two wheels are strictly fun for me.

With me it's the opposite. I have my bike for commuting: to work and back, esp. if the weather is bad and all of humanity seems to have taken the car instead of the bicycle. That's why I've opted for a pretty boring BMW with direct drive (low-maintenance even in winter with all its salty slushiness) and a slender build (perfect for cutting through congested motorways in-between lanes)

Ah no me neither.  I patted it as I went passed getting the water pistols for the water fight with the Children. (Read anyone between 10 and 50 as children in this family)

Tomorrow I have a meeting to go to on it if it is not raining. A Mate (has grand kids now) was out early sat and Sun on the road, and then on trials on Sunday too. Lucky chap 

Nope. Got a service and MOT booked in for Friday, and then we're back in the game.

Zwart, used to love that... except in the very very cold, and I was so stiff I could not get off the bike very easily.

Had a Honda CX500 in those days... direct drive too.

As pricey as gas is getting, I might just have to get a motorcycle/ scooter thing.

But I'd really like to get one with a sidecar so I can take Sebastian with me.  The Ural's actually have one with "on-demand sidecar drive." 

I'm having a tough time finding doggy helmets that are worth a shit though.
