Often have a trip to Wales on it, 350 miles of windy roads in a day, and not really tired.

I have a Hornet 600 and (try) ride to North Wales at least twice a year.
The roads there are amazing, but the police know it too :(
But horseshoe pass is just the icing on the cake and is truly inspiring! ;)

Lovely eh?  The Police?  This summer I was ....err... clocked on a saturday afternoon  errrrr um at ..., going to fast.

He was a very nice copper.  My licence is no longer clean.  So yes, important to be aware, particularly on the A5.

Enjoy it Drastic, I have had one of those in black for a few years now. Love it to bits.

Often have a trip to Wales on it, 350 miles of windy roads in a day, and not really tired.  Have been know to carry my mountain bike on the back too.

How are you finding it?

Love it, great to have a bike that fits. Bought it from a guy who is 6'7.

Haven't taken any long rides yet, still getting everything set up the way I want.

Tons of power, pretty awesome to wrench the throttle back and feel like a cannonball.

So you still have yours? 1st or 2nd gen?

Rupert

First gen, its 12 years old now.

Too much power for me in truth. The temptation is to open it wide and go  ;D.
Love the way it handles too.

I keep promising myself a newer bike, but I really don't need anything more :)

I have a theory that if I do 3000 miles minimum a year, I get to keep it on financial grounds.  Its cheaper to fuel than the truck, and so the fuel savings pay for the MOT tax and tyres. Its weak I know, but helps me justify it to the family too.  It means I take it out more.
