UK Bull market third longest on record.

The UK stock market is in its 70th month of a bull market, which began in March 2009. There are only two other occasions in history when the market has risen for longer. One is the period leading up to the great crash in 1929 and the other before the bursting of the dotcom bubble in the early 2000s.

U.S. equities fell deep into negative territory Monday on worries about a potential Greece exit from the eurozone and plunging euro. As of 10:40 a.m. ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 225 points, to 17606, or 1.28% ; the S&P 500 lost 27 points or 1.33%, dropping to 2030, while the Nasdaq fell 46 points to 4680, or 0.99%. All ten S&P 500 sectors were in the red, with energy falling 3.37%.
