Love seeing the headlines making it look like the bus was at fault. But this is what we will see when any self driving vehicles get in a wreck.

If it was all self driving vehicles I don't think we would have a problem. But mixing smart cars with stupid humans is a recipe for disaster.

Yesterday, EVERY one of the headlines I saw were clickbait making it look like the shuttle had screwed up within the first hour it had hit the road.  Today, the 3 or 4 that I've seen skewered the truck driver who backed into it.

We had about 20 feet of empty street behind us (I looked) and most human drivers would have thrown the car into reverse and used some of that space to get away from the truck. Or at least leaned on the horn and made our presence harder to miss. The shuttle didn't have those responses in its program.
