I went ahead and got one of these too. For peanuts, so why not?

You're welcome. I hear good things about them and they're offering prices similar to OVH. I'd have got some but I'm up to my ears in VPS's already.

Delimiter also have a pretty cheap 16GB one going for $20/m. Buying cheap servers gets addictive...

Those prices are all pretty incredible. Thanks for posting. At those prices there's no barrier to spinning up an experimental box.

Since you seem to be the cheapo VPS/dedicated guru, have you tried Digital Ocean? Different animal, I know, but also incredibly cheap to spin up a virtual box and play around and then just kill it. I only did a free trial so never got very far with it.

That dedi or higher end VPS would be good for a WP multi site ergo, lots of RAM for caching.

Guru... nah, though Jason and I do have a shedload of VPS, I've used around 90 providers. We go a bit lower end which can be a bit hit and miss, Digital Ocean the last time I looked was $5 a pop which is a bit more than the others I pay for. I hear good things about them though.

Same goes for Ramnode and Crissic, both very reliable. Their low end box costs $15/year, uptime has been pretty much flawless over the year.

Wow! $9/mo for 2GB of RAM at Crissic. I don't know how they can stay in business at those prices.

It's na 8-core Avoton Atom box with 8GB RAM and VMware ESXi as an OS choice. At £12 a month it's ridiculously cheap for what it is.
