Sports & Tourism seem to be the big pandemic drivers this summer.  Baseball is trying to reopen amid a big dose of denial.

I think the NBA and NHL have the right plan in place with their "bubble". Whether the players stay within the bubble is another story. So far it seems like the bubbles are working and there aren't a ton of positives coming from those leagues.

I think the NFL is going to keep a very close eye on what happens with MLB. The Marlins having an outbreak this early in the season could be very telling. If they can contain it and get it under control without it spreading to other teams that could be encouraging for the rest of the season and for the NFL teams.

The protocols the NFL has in place seem to be pretty solid with their testing, cleaning, tracking, etc. I would still definitely say its doubtful they will finish the season.

College football is going to be a total train wreck if they go forward with it.

Those 'semi-pro' junior baseball travel teams have been playing all summer.  I can only guess how many cases they've spread.

"Our businesses have 12 weeks to make money to survive the rest of the year," says Lauren Weaver, executive director of the Bethany-Fenwick Chamber of Commerce, noting that sales for the town's 75 or so beach-district merchants are down 40% to 70% compared with a year ago. "A lot of them are not going to survive."

Cruise ships restarted? Some people really aren't scared. I can see hopping on a plane for a few hours with full PPE and taking your chances, but days on end on a cruise ship????

>Cruise ships restarted?

Not for US. CDC banned them (again) until September, IIRC.  This was Norwegian/Scandanavian.

What part of stay out of damn cruise ships didn't you understand?!?
