Funny.

The papered over windows suggest it might not have been a foolproof strategy.

They must get a lot of quick bounces that would lead them to get hurt for that actual phrase.

Was thinking they're about to launch.  The name is brilliant to me.

BTW, you all ever learn about how Thai restaurants work?  It's pretty interesting.

I love the stuff btw.

I remember you posted that before. Interesting.

I was thinking in terms of search that Google interprets the search as a generic search, not a brand search and so it might be really hard to rank for your brand. Of course, you would need to be in the restaurant's local geo (or fake it) to find out. It seems like such a short-tail search though with so much noise.

Still, I think that a company name like "High Mileage Cars" is going to be hard to rank for initially until you establish some sort of brand presence and the user signals start to show good clickthrough and low bounce. Once you have the brand presence, I think you would own the term, but getting there seems like it would be hard, no?

I guess it's a version of the question of how much generic-term exact match domain names matter and that is partly a question of whether you're trying to build a brand or rank for a term.
