Probably not.

If President Trump Wants Kei Cars Built and Sold in America, It'll Be a Regulatory Nightmare

Aside:

In other news, Europeans are getting worried that American style car-size bloat is creeping in there as cars in the EU are getting longer, wider, fatter, heavier.

My nephew owns *this* kei car

Not one like it, mind you. He owns that one. The seller let these YouTubers drive it before selling it to my nephew.

When you ride in it, you feel like you are taking your life in your hands. If Ralph Nader had been reviewing this car, is book would have been, "Unsafe Even When Parked."

It's a bit of a challenge to get in and out of. Keep in mind, I am a rock climber. I just did a substantial slot canyon. I'm also small.

And since this car is no longer made, my nephew jokes that if you crack the windshield, the car is totaled. It would cost more to fabricate the custom windshield than it cost to buy the car.

That's the bad.

The good?

Sometimes he takes it to car events. He parks it next to a million dollar McLaren, the latest Porsche, a classic Mustang and his car draws more crowds and more attention than any other. It's a super cool car as long as you don't drive it on public roads ;-)
