The Kogan developer staff was sick of keeping their web site working for out of date browsers.  So.  They added a tax to those using old browsers like IE 7.  I guess, even if they do lose sales from it, it won't be that many sales...

Great link-bait, but it makes me chuckle. If there's any truth to it, they must have pretty junior developers. Each Windows version of IE has been easier to wrangle than the last, and IE7 is a complete blessing in comparison to Mac IE5 and Netscape 4.

If that reads like a 'kids of today'/'back in my day' rant, it probably is. Now get off my lawn...
