Here is a list of parameters that you can add to Bing's url to filter the results by date:

&tbs=qdr:s - results of the previous second
&tbs=qdr:n - results of the previous minute
&tbs=qdr:h - results of the previous hour
&tbs=qdr:d - results of the previous day
&tbs=qdr:w -results of the previous week
&tbs=qdr:m - results of the previous month
&tbs=qdr:y - results of the previous year

The other thing you can do is subscribe to the RSS feed of a search. This might help a bit with the demise of Google Alerts a bit.

Useful that.  Combined with something like http://blogtrottr.com/ you have a rudimentary workaround

It won't replace Google Alerts, but adding it to my keyword search feeds does give me a few extra hits that I wasn't seeing before. Limiting the feed to the past week, or day, will limit the rest of the old crap that will resurface constantly in Bing RSS feeds.
