Find ads on website

I'm trying to put together slides for a talk I am doing.  I want to include some screen shots of adverts on well-known websites that break with that old school idea of not showing ads on conversion driven websites.  Examples I've included already: tesco.com, ticketmaster, lastminute.com

I need more examples.

Question 1 : If anyone spots one that makes them raise an eyebrow can they let me know. Double gratitude points for AdSense, but any network style ad is a winner

Question 2 : I've got a list of sites running AdSense from builtwith. There are some great domains there: barackobama.com qvc.com gap.com .  It can be hard to find the ads.  I've been using screaming frog to crawl and trying to find ads using the custom filters.  Anyone know a faster / better way?

Thanks

A "mention only " report in Majestic for googlesyndication.com

PS I got your email, I'll call you tomorrow :)

I'm a bit surprised gap.com is running AdSense.  I worked on that site maybe 8 years ago and couldn't imagine them going that route back then.

I'm not overly confident in the builtwith list to be honest. That's part of what I'm trying to do.

Majestic would be a result if that works. I'll give it a shot.

It works :)

From memory you can't do a standard report because you want "mentions" and that's only available in the advanced part of the resports.

Rooftop

uses a few analysis units doesn't it! :)

JasonD

hehehe. The download may not be possible.

I broke it about 5 years ago doing exactly what you're doing and ended up chatting with Alex about it. It seems a 2GB file causes a few issues with how he had his server set up.

To be fair re analysis units, you're going after quite a popular domain :)

PS I called and left a message earlier. Hopefully we can catch up tomorrow.

Didn't get the message yet. I shall flog the minion responsible.
