Anyone notice that the keyword tool spits out far fewer keywords when you run an extraction on an Ajax site ?

I've only noticed it recently.

The keyword planner is being royally fucked... if not in your account yet, it will be soon.

diff keys are now combined so for example:

plumbing mycity mystate
plumber mycity mystate

are now combined so they both show the same combined number. You have to jump a couple hoops to get correct numbers.

Also, if you don't have an active adwords account...you'll get volume numbers like
100-1k s/m

They originally were just turning the whole thing off if you didn't have an active account.

Guessing that when you plumb in a URL, a bot scrapes the page to extract text and look for synonymous keywords - and that the bot used isn't great at chewing through AJAX sites.

Any clue whether it is running the same headless browser as googlebot?

Yes i've noticed that for a while, synonyms, but that makes sense if you're gonna program an alg you need to group similar searches into one.
