Fbook Fans & Twitter followers

Just wondering if people are buying up Fbook fans and Twitter followers for their sites and how they've got on with it.

I use Twiends for Twitter and it's not a bad service. Big problem with it is you can't target people by country or topic (yet anyway).

Getting Fbook friends I've found to be a real minefield. So many people out there just looking to take your money and run (which I guess you have to expect as it's a pretty black hat tactic in the first place).

Any heads-up on Fbook fans sites you've used that have delivered and can target down by country and/or topic much appreciated.
