Updated look, lots of new features which you can read about below.  The biggie is encrypted sync to keep all your stuff the same across devices.

Sync was the critical feature needed before they move into mobile browsers.  I know they have an Android version in the works, hopefully that will come out soon.

Not heard of it before, nice features.

Updated to 2.0 on my Linux machine and now all my browser data in in sync!  Love this.

PS. Linux update was far easier than Windows.

Does it seem faster?
Seems to be using less resources, too.
I've been a fan of Vivaldi for awhile now. I'm really liking this update.

Finally got this on all my Linux distros. Looks like mostly design improvements. The speed seems comparable, but I didn't run any sort of benchmarks. If I need to check something in Chrome this or Brave are usually the browser I go to.

Somebody asked online about when Vivaldi would bring the built in email client back like Old Opera had.  One of the staff responded by saying it was almost done, so sooner than we think.  Back in the Old Opera days I never used the built in email client, but after looking at the present state of Thunderbird,  MS Mail, and Geary, I'd say it's a good time to roll that out in Vivaldi.
