Amazon reviews don't match the product listed

Needed a new screen protector. Here's one that looks good by review count/stars:

Except, the first 3 reviews talk about a throw, makeup brushes, and LED flashlight:

And the first three Q&A are about a bluetooth keyboard, solar viewing glasses, and some stackable thing

Any ideas what is going on with product listings like this?

I see this 'review mix' for similar models of a product line offered by a vendor, but that's it.

Interestingly, the product I posted here has been fixed, but not others.

Here are a few more when searching for an S8 plus screen protector. Two of the first 4 listings that are not sponsored or "amazon's choice":

Reviews are for a backpack leash, watch strap, and iphone case:

Reviews show this is a watch strap, different phone (A9) accessory, and some kind of pre-workout product:

I saw some other anecdotal comments on reddit since my OP about not being able to use amazon reviews because of this.

Those last 2 AMZ links are dead now.  From the UK at least.  The first one on your first post is still there.

My reviews seem fine on my products.

This seems to be some kind of seller manipulation where they change products on their listings, rather than some kind of system errors.

This is really starting to piss me off. I cannot get a good product from amazon because of these fake reviews.

Example:
My new screen protector broke, so I ordered another brand that came with 2. Reviews looked good after digging through the nonsense I posted above. Well, they suck and don't actually fit my phone correctly. I go to return them and notice the reviews are now cleaned up down to 4 reviews and 2 stars overall. WTF amazon.

Third time around, I still see these garbage listing with reviews that don't match and some new products with great ratings. Looking at reviews, every. single. one. was dropped on the same date on some of these products. It's pretty glaringly obvious to anyone taking a close look.

I guess Amazon doesn't care since better ratings, fake or not, sell more product.
