'Membership economy' favors businesses over consumers

The only problem: His subscription doesn't expire until next month. And he wasn't sure if he wanted it to continue.

This is why I try to avoid the auto subscribe if possible and no longer renew magazine subscriptions until I stop getting them. I find that these days you commonly get renewal notices 3-4 months into the annual subscription.
