Not that I am on the street but the word is that Panda is rolling out in the UK.

Hehe, my first thought was WTF?! Panda.. as in the antivirus software, a cute bear escaped the Zoo... but then it hit me; the Farmer Panda Update.

So, what are you seeing Rich? Go, bad..

I havent had proper time to look. I have always been one for accepting what comes from G and looking at it afterwards. No point changing anything initially as they always seem to loosen the thumnscrews after a while.

Spot on.

It will be kinda interesting to see how it eventually effects the UK serps.

I'm not seeing any change to our traffic, but have not had the time to look at other indicators. One of the US sites we run got hit and it was clear to see almost immediately - so I hope Panda has rolled out in the UK, but I'm not convinced yet. Does anyone have any concrete evidence to show it has happened? A quick look at forums and news doesn't throw up the usual flurry of discussion.

yeah, I am seeing no more blippage than normal, and I would have expected some movement in the SERPs I watch, even for sites which aren't directly affected.

I've seen it hit some sites but not directly, more collateral damage from building dodgy links on US .com sites.

Seen a bit of shuffling with positions the past few days but nothing major. Interestingly yesterday though I saw a huge traffic jump from Google, although not from the UK but Latvia?!  ??? Nice, but not really my target audience.

Seen a big change over the weekend, seemed to hit late Friday. Has anyone else noticed anything?

The first page of Google's results for my key term have seen a lot of movement compared to the previous weekend, several competitors have now dropped off the first page.

lots of movement friday-ish. Haven't tried checking why yet though.... looks like it could be something Farmer-esque

My two biggest sites - one down around 8 positions, the other just knocked my long standing competition off of the top spot.  Both movements on Friday.  Might not be too much to do with the update though.

I'm noticing big changes on the good side for most of my small businesses including big changes on Google Places.  All of the sites are WP sites.  Some sites as new as 6 weeks old are doing very well.  All sites clean, content rich and no black hat stuff used at all.

However, one business with also totally clean site a good few years old and has always had #1 in Google Places for his keywords edinburgh trade and trade edinburgh has gone from #1 to #25 on places but remained at #3 in the organic???
