Interesting article, odd though how he takes the first few paragraphs to go on a tangent on google.  One thing that I think is different this time is that there seems to be much more real commerce and investment chasing after it.  I am not saying the economy can't come crashing down, but I think the big tech companies will survive if it does.  Locally it feels sort of bubbly.  Bay Area housing is booming again with all the tech transplants buying everything up.  It is pretty disgusting what goes for a million dollars out here.
