Putin is crying, Travoli.

(460 from Waverly to Zuni, Trav.)

Rumbas

We had DKK 9,46/L yesterday for 95 unleaded. Lowest in a loooong time.

rcjordan

If I did the math right, $2.06/gal = .71eu/L

I need gasoline to drop to 50cents/gal

Rumbas

Did the math:

9,46 DKK = 1,55 USD
1 gallon  = 3,785 L

1 gallon gas in Denmark:
DKK 35 ~ USD 5,76

1 gallon gas in the US:
DKK 12,52 ~ USD 2,06

At 50cents/gal I'd be drinking it straight from the pump.

You have been to the states quite a few times. Acquired our tastes.

In the US, that's called neat

Travoli

>Putin is crying

I heard a "wounded bear" comparison on NPR.
Which might prove unpredictable.

>Putin

I'm pretty sure oil falling so hard is a direct message to him.  Yeah we have the shale oil boom, but Saudi Arabia could scale back to keep the cost up and they aren't.

rcjordan

Yeah, call it 'marketplace sanctions.'  Win-win for Obama; US economy goes hockey-stick up and Putin's goes hockey-stick-down.

We some kind of record for gas prices falling for 92+ days straight.  Apparently we're going to see another $0.10 drop and then it will level off.

Those prices are probably for 87 unleaded. I don't know if you can even find 95 at a regular station anymore. At least near me the highest you can get is 93. But still, it's probably aroun $2.50/gal for 95

In my neck of the woods we're still well over $3.00/gal, but my neck of the woods is fairly far out into the woods. I was in the city on my way home from Christmas travels and bought 87 unleaded at something like $2.49/gal.

YAAAAAAAAA what do you have that you need 95 octane?
