Buyers can still use paypal to purchase

Yeah, this one is weird to me.  eBay is forcing all it's sellers to not use PayPal for receiving payment, which makes no sense since they are the same company.  I'm thinking that this is in preparation some type of company split-off.

As a buyer, I don't think I would buy on eBay if I could not pay via Paypal.  It's a matter of security.  I don't see how this is simpler because they are inserting another link in the chain.
