QuoteIn another story, we covered a man who says he still loves his Cybertruck despite Tesla failing to fix the issue with his truck after eight separate service visits over five months.

Tesla has perfected what Apple pioneered.

Interesting that this seems to affect both comprehensive and liability.

It made me curious so I just had a look and it appears that the CA high-risk pool is limited to liability. So it if others follow suit and stop insuring the Cybertruck, there will be no comprehensive insurance options, which effectively raises the income/wealth bar from purchases that vehicle.

A local city council member, whom I've voted for before, actually bought one of these and has been parading it around like it's going to get him votes. Now, I'm questioning his judgment.

Insurance companies are relentless.  If they want to drop you or your vehicle they will find away.  They'll just wait until nobody is paying attention and cancel or raise the rate until you can't afford it.

To be fair, the insured's driving record counts too.  It's not just the vehicle.
