I've been dipping in and out of precious metals for a while now, Silver has long had signs of an upturn and it started going well for me in April of this year.

I first used https://www.thegoldbullion.co.uk/ for silver 1oz coins, i now use https://www.bullionvault.com/.

I'm looking at holding on to mine for three years or whenever i see the next big slide coming.

I deal in silver and gold for my side business, for me price fluctuation is more of a pain in the ass than anything else.  For investments I focus on companies that actually provide a product or a service -- something with real value added.  Commodities are truly zero sum; for every profit there is someone who loses.  I am sure a smart person could make some money in precious metals, but I don't have that confidence in my own skills.

My adventures with physical silver mostly take the form of bidding for vintage sterling spoons and tableware that I watch for on eBay.

I don't think that could be considered an investment, although I do keep an eye on melt value when I'm shopping.

That's a recognise way of getting cheap silver.

This forum needs a multi-quoite thang.

i'm not doingh it big time coz i dont have the cash. I tried some Forex a while back, started off with 50 quid, turned it onto 150 quid the first week (Forex is limited to a weekly deal with the people i used) then it was a fiverf by the third week!

Silver seems pretty safe at the moment, it was outdoing gold on a percentage-level a few months ago.
