Just got back from Vegas and I saw a TON of Google advertisements on taxis, hotel signs, etc.

I got a Pixel 2 (a treat for myself) and a home mini + chromecast (a present from the kids) for Xmas.
I am having so much fun with them, but it really is a sign of how lazy we are all going to become tho.

Amazon's market share doesn't surprise me. They do have that key advantage of being a retailer so adding an echo to their cart along with their other items is an easy upsell.
Shame, as I've used both and I much prefer Google but then I have sold my soul to them

Amazon also blocks Prime streaming from Android devices.

Yeah, it's a real pissing contest. Overall, my tech feeds tend to blame both of them about equally. But on the 'retail' side of the news, most are bitching at Amazon. Then again, there are 3 times as many users to bitch at Amz.
