When I was in Austin a few months back we did a bike tour on some electric assisted bikes. Loved it. For someone who doesn't bike much it was a great way to get around a city. If I lived in an urban environment where I had to commute a couple miles something like one of these would be excellent. I think the ones we rode were about $4000 each.
