This one caught my eye and reminded me of RC's Bear Story. I like that story:

We have had somewhat mixed experience in the family historically. Primarily with host families that were not really up to the job and left the exchange student on her own etc.

Heard a lot of good stuff about https://asse.com/become_an_asse_exchange_student/student_exchange_program/
but would like to have my daughter stay with folks we know or have a good reference about. Preferably in NC or SC.

So anybody know anyone, anywhere or have past experiences with Danish exchange students? Her English is on par and pretty good and 2020 she would be 15 turning 16.

So anyone else in town in October?

What?! I went to Mallorca for a week this summer and what a freaking hell hole of British tourists attacking the all-inclusive bar from 9 in the morning to 4 in the night. We saw litterally NO spanish people. ONLY brits in all the bars, restaurants, shops - everywhere no spanish employed. Yikes, thought I was in Nottingham.

We just hired a young kid with a degree in AI and prediction modelling. We use him to build predition churn models for customers in a huge ecommerce shop. Fascinating!

He's writing a paper on Cryto and pointed me to this stuff:

Not sure I get it though - it's a browser:

Traffic / Google Search vs. Youtube Searches
« on: November 01, 2017, 03:43:03 PM »
I am doing some research for a client who wants to know the search volume BOTH on Google and Youtube. Eg. does anyone have any idea of how to pull some search numbers exclusively on youtube searches?

I tried https://keywordtool.io/youtube but the data seem borked and totally random?

Water Cooler / Let's talk ginger.
« on: August 14, 2017, 08:06:24 AM »
Well, because ginger is awesome.

I have experimented with ginger in a lot of ways as I can't get enough of it.

I've done a nice combo of fresh ginger and lots of lime juice in the blender and then through a sieve. In the fridge and you have a nice fresh drink.

The other day I found a ginger beer recipe:

1. Ground fresh ginger in a jar with equal amount of sugar.
2. Let is rest for 3-4 days until it ferments and starts producing gas.
3. Boil a nice huge chunk of ginger with 1L of water for 30 mins.
4. Put it through a sieve and mix in some sugar for taste and further fermentation.
5. Add another liter of water.
6. Let it sit on the kitchen counter for a few days to buble a bit more.
7. Pour in a bottle and keep in the fridge.

8. Mix ginger beer, dark rum and lime and knock yourself out on Dark & Stormy.

I've also done the sushi type ginger, but getting the taste and texture right is hard. Needs some work.

Web Development / Schema mark-up experts?
« on: May 19, 2017, 12:26:04 PM »
I'm looking a lot into Schema mark-up and especially for clients. However my brain is not good at doing structure and I'm a bit confused as to what actually implement.

Anyone here sharp on Schema or know anyone or any tools/sites?
